陈波,1983年出生,同济大学材料学院研究员。2013年获得英国伦敦大学学院(University College London/UCL)凝聚态物理专业博士学位;欧洲大型实验系统用户高等研究课程(HERCULES)获批参与者。兼任英国伦敦大学学院(UCL)访问讲师;于2013年至2016年在伦敦纳米技术中心(London Centre for Nanotechnology)从事博士后研究工作。  主要从事基于同步辐射X射线及电子显微镜的三维成像技术的开发和应用研究,此类技术用于各种物质的三维空间结构及其组分分析。陈波博士所做研究的对象主要为涂层材料,生物组织及生物材料等等。  获得英国伦敦大学学院(UCL)优秀博士论文/Marshall Stoneham奖;第11届国际X射线显微学会议Werner Meyer-IIse奖提名者;第四届欧洲X射线自由电子激光(XFEL)用户会议青年科学家奖学金;英国工程和物理科学研究学会Dorothy Hodgkin Postgraduate Awards(DHPA)奖学金。  
主持过两项欧洲BioStruct-X基金项目;参与过中国国家自然科学基金青年科学基金项目;  在《Nature Communications》,《Scientific Reports》等国际期刊发表论文20余篇,有1篇文章被选为封面;文章被SCI引用100余次。
