何振宇南方科技大学化学系副教授,Grubbs 研究院双聘教授,广东省突出贡献人员专业技术资格有机化学研究员,广东省高校化学类专业指导委员会委员,国家“青年##计划”入选者,马萨诸塞州理工学院(MIT)博士后,在交叉氢烯基化、N-杂环卡宾Ni(II)H催化剂、催化合成支链和偕二取代烯烃、 N-杂环卡宾-过渡金属不对称催化的远程电子效应技术上建立了比较良好的国际声誉,是我国乃至全世界目前在“NHC-Ni” 和“Hydroalkenylation” 领域中最优秀的化学家之一,他积极申请各种研究经费,紧追国际前沿,科技创新能力和组织管理效果情况良好。论文获亮点报道总计>30次,获7项国际奖项(ACS, RSC, Thieme, ACP颁发),常应邀作国际研讨会报告(超过35次海外邀请讲座和演讲,如: 入选中国-意大利有机化学双边研讨会的10人代表团)和撰写综述(Prof. Scott Miller, Yale & Dieter Enders, RWTH),他已通过国内外专家和学术委员会评估并获得了tenure, 并已被邀请为北海道大学短期兼职讲师。是一个具有明确发展目标和动力为社会做出贡献的青年研究学者。

Dr. Chun-Yu Ho received his Ph.D. in 2005under the supervision of Prof. Dan Yang in The University of Hong Kong fororganocatalytic asymmetric epoxidation. After pursing post-doctoral researchduring 2005-07 with Prof. Timothy F. Jamison in MIT for transition metalcatalysis, he started his independent career at The Chinese University of HongKong (CUHK) as a Research Assistant Professor at the end of 2007. Now he isAssociate Professor in South University of Science and Technology of China(SUSTC) in 2013 and Honorary AP of CUHK. He is the recipient of The CroucherFoundation Fellowship of Hong Kong, Asian Core Program Lectureship Award fromboth Japan in 2010 and Singapore in 2011, Thousand Young Talents Program Awardfrom the Chinese central government in 2012, recognized as Overseas High-CaliberPersonnel from Shenzhen in 2013, and awarded ACS Excellence in ScienceSymposium: The Journal of Organic Chemistry and Organic Letters Best Poster in2013.
